Nathan Chesney

Nathan Chesney is an Inclusion Facilitator at Inclusion Cayman, where his mission is to co-create inclusive environments (both physical and digital) that empower individuals and transform communities.

He holds a Master of Arts in User Experience Design from Falmouth University, and a Bachelor of Science from Royal Holloway, University of London, where he also worked as a Student Helper providing disability and dyslexia support services to fellow students. He has since built a strong foundation in design and technology, earning certifications in Service Design from the Interaction Design Foundation and Project Management through Google, and has a passion for how emerging technologies can further inclusion.

Nathan recently earned his Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) credential, making him one of the only CPACC-certified accessibility auditors in the Cayman Islands, bringing internationally recognised training in accessibility standards, inclusive design, and barrier identification to his work. Through his leadership, Inclusion Cayman offers free accessibility audits for businesses, schools, public agencies, and community spaces, followed by practical strategies to ensure accessibility is integrated sustainably and with community needs at the centre. As a public advocate for inclusive employment, Nathan champions a person-first philosophy: “We focus on the person, not the label”, and regularly highlights the prevalence of over 900 types of invisible disabilities and the importance of creating safe, understanding environments.

Beyond his role at Inclusion Cayman, Nathan serves as Deputy Chairperson of the National Youth Commission, where his mission is to encourage young people in the Cayman Islands to unlock their potential, no matter who they are, supporting collaboration across the public and private sectors and helping deliver initiatives that equip youth with the tools, confidence, and support they need to thrive
